About Pollyrich Farms

Pollyrich Farms, LLC Breeding and Sport Horses specializes in the development of tomorrows performance horses. The business is involved on the highly competitive horse show circuit along with the promotion, breeding and sale of Sport Horses. Pollyrich Farms, LLC has recently acquired Running Creek Ranch and its established breeding business. That includes embryo transfer and all mare and stallion services for all breeds. The state of the art breeding farm is located in Solvang 40 miles north of Santa Barbara, California in the beautiful Santa Ynez valley.

The Facility

Running Creek Ranch had been in business for 17 years before being sold to Rick and Buffy Oas. The 34 acre farm has 30 box stalls, a 6 stall stallion facility, a one half mile training track, a 150’ x 300’ sand riding arena, 31 paddocks, 21 large irrigated grass pastures and a modern veterinary breeding lab with state of the art equipment

Breeding

Pollyrich Farms is taking full advantage of the latest advanced breeding technology. Our very successful breeding program includes Artificial Insemination, foaling of the mares and the complete care of the mares and foals. Pollyrich Farms also offers an all inclusive embryo donor mare and stallion exercise and grooming program.

Our Embryo Transfer program utilizes our herd of recipient mares and allows donor mares to either return to the show circuit immediately after a successful embryo is collected, have multiple foals in one year, or create a foal from a mare that cannot carry a foal herself. We also provide frozen semen collection and storage for both national and international stallions.
