Joe Perez - Manager
Joe has been overseeing the facility at Pollyrich Farms, formerly Running Creek Ranch, for seventeen years. He spent eight years in Hemet, California at Hemajincto Stables (Thoroughbred Farm) and then moved on to serve the next five years as the Breeding Manager at Mandy's Land Thoroughbred Farm in the Santa Ynez Valley in central California.

He came to work at Running Creek Ranch in 1987 where he worked closely with Dr. Ed Blach (currently CEO of Hagyard-Davidson-McGee Associates PLLC, the premier equine medical center in the Nation). Together they worked diligently on the perfection of the Embryo Transfer process. Joe was educated by Paul Loomis of Select Breeding Services about the process of freezing and defrosting equine semen. He works daily with the veterinarians to synchronize the mares for Embryo Transfers during breeding season and assists during the procedures.

Joe works closely with Dr. Greg Parks of Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center and regularly attends seminars to be on the cutting-edge of Equine Reproduction Technology. Joe oversees a staff of twelve and accommodates the needs of the client's horses, as well as actively participating in foaling. He has developed a great rapport with the local vendors and plays an important role in the daily operation of Pollyrich Farms.

Pedro Aguilar - Assistant Manager
Pedro began his career in horse breeding industry 27 years ago in Riverside, California. Joe Perez brought him onto his staff at Running Creek Ranch in 1991. Pedro is very skilled and experienced in foaling as well as halter breaking and imprinting foals (familiarizing the foals with people). He works directly with the veterinarians and oversees the daily mare and foal care.

Pedro is the primary person on duty for all foaling and he and his family conveniently live on site. He handles the resident stallions, as well as visiting stallions, and manages the complete care for all recipient mares used for Embryo Transfers.
