Veterinary Service Fees for Embryo Transfer

We offer set-fee service pricing for all clients participating in the Embryo Transfer program at Pollyrich Farms. The “set-fee” is for synchronization of suitable recipient mares and the actual embryo transfer procedures inclusive of all medications (except ReguMate® where deemed necessary) for the recipient mares.

The fee includes:

Ultrasound exams and synchronization of two recipient mares for one donor mare.

All the expenses for three flushes and, if necessary, three transfers to achieve ONE pregnancy confirmed at 30 days.

If, in the rare event that after three flushes we have not achieve a pregnant recipient mare we will need to discuss and re-evaluate how it would best be to proceed with this particular donor mare in the ET program. Possibly we could switch over to a “per cycle” cost basis for any additional attempts.

Additional Costs

All the veterinary services on the donor mare are billed separately.

The expense for the lease and/or purchase of the recipient mare is separate from the veterinary expenses.

Discounts

For those who wish to do multiple flushes per mare per year to achieve more than one pregnancy we can arrange a discounted rate. Also, for those who wish to perform only one flush we will adjust some charges accordingly. Please contact the farm for current pricing.

Set pricing allows clients to closely estimate expenses for achieving pregnancy in the recipient mare.
